Members of the New Zealand Field Artillery (30th Reinforcements) on an emergency bridge, which they expeditiously constructed in the course of their training duties whilst at Featherston Camp.  Note the two ammunition wagons that have been used as the main supports the wheels of same carrying all the weight.  The bridge is about 25ft. long and is supporting about 70 men.
