An official statement that Sister Ruby DICKINSON, sister of Mr S R Dickinson, headmaster of St Andrews College, Christchurch, had died on 23 June while on active service after being invalided to England, has proved to be incorrect. She is still serving with her unit in Salonika. Enquiry at Base Records confirm there are two nurses recorded with the same Christian name and surname, one being located in England and the other in Salonika. The remarkable identity of both name and occupation was responsible for the mistake.
KIDMAN, Sergeant C H, NZMC, has been awarded a Bar to his Military Medal.
