TAIERI FALLEN SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL. A Contract has been Let for the Erection, in Mosgiel, of the Memorial to those Soldiers who left from that portion of the Taieri District lying to the East Side of the Taieri River who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War of 1914-18. The following list of soldiers who gave their lives has been prepared. In order to have an accurate list for recording on the monument, the Committee invite relatives, or other persons, to forward to the undersigned as early as possible the name of any soldier omitted from the list, or any correction in the spelling of the names; also the rank held and any decorations won by the deceased soldier: W E McLEAN, Hon. Secretary Mosgiel 25th July 1923.
