MT RUAPEHU AIR CRASH
TUESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 1961
On Tuesday 21 November 1961, the Bay of Plenty Airways Aero Commander was flying its scheduled Flight 92 from Wellington to Rotorua and Tauranga, when it crashed on Mount Ruapehu, killing all six on board.
