ASSESSMENT COURT
A sitting of the Assessment Court was held in the Tauranga Courthouse on Monday for the purpose of hearing objections to the revised valuation for Tauranga County. Lieut. Colonel Roberts, S.M., presided, and the following assessors were present: — Messrs W. J. Douglas and J. A. M. Davidson (Tauranga County), J Wilson (Katikati Road Board), and R. King (Te Puke Road Board). Messrs W. F. Wallis, Government Valuer, and J. B. Wallis, of the Valuation Office Auckland, appeared on behalf of the Valuation Department. The objections were dealt with in a good spirit and the following are the decisions:
