We understand that additional land has been sold, but in consequence of a promise made by Mr Stewart before leaving England that not more than 1000 acres would be open for the first selction, the Resident Director of the Corporation decided that the late purchasers of land should select in the order in which the applications should be received either by telegram of letter.
